WELCOME TO GCGM WEBSITE!

The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee (GCGM) has a long and rich history. We are one of the largest garden clubs in the state of Wisconsin. Our focus is on community outreach and education in the areas of horticulture, landscape design, floral design and sustainable practices that protect our environment. We volunteer in our community by supporting community gardens, a nearby state park, Hunger Task Force and Habitat for Humanity projects, among others.

The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee is a charter member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Region, Wisconsin Garden Club Federation and Milwaukee District Garden Clubs. 

OUR MISSION

Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee’s mission is to educate members and the community about the art and science of gardening, floral design, landscape design, and horticulture. We embrace best practices that promote sustainability, protect the environment, and conserve our natural resources. We volunteer in our community to share our passion for the natural world.

2026 OPEN DAYS AND DIGGING DEEPER GARDEN TOURS

 The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee is participating in Open Days, a national program of The Garden Conservancy.  GCGM volunteers will welcome visitors to several  private  gardens in Waukesha County of Greater Milwaukee.  Save the dates and register now, as ticket quantities  will be limited,  All registrations must be processed online through The Garden Conservancy's website.  To find out more about the gardens and to register, please  use the button below
