The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee (GCGM) has a long and rich history. We are one of the largest garden clubs in the state of Wisconsin. Our focus is on community outreach and education in the areas of horticulture, landscape design, floral design and sustainable practices that protect our environment. We volunteer in our community by supporting community gardens, a nearby state park, Hunger Task Force and Habitat for Humanity projects, among others.

The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee is a charter member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Region, Wisconsin Garden Club Federation and Milwaukee District Garden Clubs.

2026 OPEN DAYS AND DIGGING DEEPER GARDEN TOURS

The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee (GCGM) is continuing its annual participation in Open Days, the national garden-visiting program of the Garden Conservancy. This year’s Open Days features four magnificent gardens in Waukesha County (bordering Milwaukee), open on Saturday, July 25th and Sunday, July 26th from 10am-4pm. In addition, we offer a premium Digging Deeper experience on Tips and Tricks for Perennial Gardens from 4pm-6pm both days, for which tickets are limited.
